Know the borrower

Financial services / Lending apps
Digital lenders must be licensed by the CBK. The CBK (Amendment) Act, 2021 brought digital credit providers under its supervision, and the Business Laws (Amendment) Act, 2024 widened this to non-deposit-taking credit providers, including buy-now-pay-later. Data protection enforcement against lenders has been active.
